Thing 11 Social Media Mixx

I really like Mixx. I had never heard about it. I like the fact that what makes it to the top are what the users like instead of what a "faceless" editor as they said decides. I was especially interested in Mixx because one of the posted articles was "100 Terrific Web Tools for Tightwads". I am quite skilled at being a tightwad but I had never heard of most of the web tools listed on that page.

    Really YouTube is similar but as far as user generated values. My kids and I do view a lot on You Tube and look at the other user suggestions for viewing.

    In helping folks with research questions these sites may be able to assist for finding information I wouldn't normally predict. It could also be a distraction because I see things that I never thought about and get curious and then spend hours looking at something I never intended to look at.
